MOVING....AGAIN!!

Many of you know Nick and I have moved quite a bit in the last five years...let's do a little recap, shall we?

1st house! Good ol' St. Clair. This was one of my favorite towns to live in! It was our very first house together with so many memories. We made a few upgrades in it, fixed the pool in the back but sold it because of a job! Wanted to be closer to work so we moved!

Then I graduated from nursing school and applied for a job in Port Huron. This was the house that we bought that was right on the Black River.

This was our next house! Loved this house too, right on the river, again we upgraded this house as well, but truth be told I will never own a house that doesn't have A/C AGAIN! Who does that?? Apparently, that's very common!?!? This California girl did not get that.... well out to the country for us we went!

Just a few of my favorite parts of this house!

Anyway, we are moving to Florida!! So excited to be going to the beach again. This California girl is going to be getting that sun again! Don't worry we won't be buying a house....lol I mean I don't think so!

Hospital Bag!

   Well our bags are packed and we are ready when ever this little guy is! It's 38 weeks and I've changed what I've packed about 20 times, but I think I've nailed it at this point. We only live like 15 mins from the actual hospital and once little man is born Nick can always come back home and get what we need if anything.  I only planned for like 3 days at the most, keep in mind EVERY hospital is different with what they will and won't supply you with, especially dependent on insurance too. So ALWAYS check with your OB and hospital prior. Diaper bag So first up let's talk baby items. My hospital provides the following: Diapers, t-shirt, blankets, hat, socks, pacifier, swaddles, and formula. Almost everything you need for a baby to go home with. What i'm bringing.  Clothes: 2-3 Newborn outfits 2-3 --0-3 outfits Only because we don't know how big he will be and what he will and won't fit into. Time to play catch up

Sorry for lags on the posting...had kind of a hectic slash relaxing weekend. So Thursday Nick had to come home from work after being SICK...and I mean sick...I felt so bad for him, I was working all day and the future nurse kicked in I stopped at the store and grabbed all the amazing things my mama picked up for me when I was sick.... ginger ale, gatorade, saltines, and soup...right there..all you need!  Wanna know how I know I'm going to be a good nurse??? It worked... I cured him! LOL ....or that bug ran it's course.... lol So we made the best of the weekend without being too far from home so just in case I caught what he had or his body decided to have SIKE JK moment. Was it 90 degrees where you were??? Saturday was soon freaking hot! We went to the beach and tried to lay out ...that lasted maybe an hour....the water was too cold to get into.. and it was way too hot to lay out typical Michigan.  LOL Soo we decided to go on a drive where we cou...

New adventures!

Hey All! I'm starting a new venture this year! Lots of new things going on for me and my husband already! 1st year of nursing school down! So excited my passion for helping people and saving lives and well underway! This new venture is a perfect opportunity to help doing so with the battle of obesity.  Today I signed up to be a new Beachbody Coach! Pretty excited.  Not everyone knows but I struggled with weight for a while before I joined the Airforce. Pretty sure it was my eating habits one year my metabolism basically stopped. I've always been small and petite and exercised but usually ate whatever I wanted.  Not the best of ideas.  I went from 105lbs to almost 150lbs. This was not just unhealthy but it was depressing and I just kept eating all the time.  I literally tried everything! I went to the Dr. because I thought something HAD to be wrong with me.  I had all the tests done and everything was clean.  So I worked out I ate hardly anything ...
