He's Home!!

Guess who's together again!! Literally. the best ever is being with my husband again after 4 long months. Many people think we are annoying but we literally do EVERYTHING together so this was very hard for us. In 9 years we have deployed together and we've managed to do all our training together so far in the military. When we decided for me to commission, we knew this day was coming, but we never realized it would be so hard. I was able to visit him in San Antonio, Texas for a month, which I loved! That's where our love flourished and we grew our lives together. San Antonio will always have a special part in our heart. 

Now we're in Florida, which so far is definitely different but we are enjoying it. The humidity is REAL here and the storms are no joke. This pregnant lady had to go for a walk after dinner and we were trying to go to the beach. Well, we were there for 5 seconds and we and 2 weddings got rained out! I felt so bad for the weddings. We waited out the storms..... 


....then got the whole beach to ourselves! The Gulf of Mexico is different than the west coast. The water was so warm! Almost, too warm but perfect for me! I could get used to this weather too it was so nice and cool after the storm passed through. 


The sunsets and clouds were absolutely amazing to take pictures. None of these photos have filters and don't need them. It's god's paintings. I'm kind of a nature freak...I love the ocean and hiking. Nature has such a way of just bringing beauty and calm to your heart. 


This is my 26 weeks photo. In these 26 weeks, my husband has been to school and earned the highest GPA in the class. A Pandemic has sent mayhem to the world, I've graduated my Master's program for Family Nurse Practitioner. We've moved across the U.S and I've got a house that is ready to sell. Definitely, have been busy the last four months.

Never thought I would be pregnant during a pandemic. But being pregnant has honestly been amazing so far. I've truly been lucky, not at all how I thought my first pregnancy would go. But here we are. Little man loves to kick! He let's me sleep at night for now and honestly I've gotten the best sleep of my life since I've been pregnant. No real food cravings, I've had plenty of energy and really haven't had too much heartburn. There's still plenty of time, but for now, I'm bonding with little man. 


This outfit was meant for a walk on the beach after working all day on the house. Shorts are from Target, love them, they are high waisted and comfortable for pregnancy. The hat and shirt are both from amazon.

   Well our bags are packed and we are ready when ever this little guy is! It's 38 weeks and I've changed what I've packed about 20 times, but I think I've nailed it at this point. We only live like 15 mins from the actual hospital and once little man is born Nick can always come back home and get what we need if anything.  I only planned for like 3 days at the most, keep in mind EVERY hospital is different with what they will and won't supply you with, especially dependent on insurance too. So ALWAYS check with your OB and hospital prior. Diaper bag So first up let's talk baby items. My hospital provides the following: Diapers, t-shirt, blankets, hat, socks, pacifier, swaddles, and formula. Almost everything you need for a baby to go home with. Time to play catch up

Sorry for lags on the posting...had kind of a hectic slash relaxing weekend. So Thursday Nick had to come home from work after being SICK...and I mean sick...I felt so bad for him, I was working all day and the future nurse kicked in I stopped at the store and grabbed all the amazing things my mama picked up for me when I was sick.... ginger ale, gatorade, saltines, and soup...right there..all you need!  Wanna know how I know I'm going to be a good nurse??? It worked... I cured him! LOL ....or that bug ran it's course.... lol So we made the best of the weekend without being too far from home so just in case I caught what he had or his body decided to have SIKE JK moment. Was it 90 degrees where you were??? Saturday was soon freaking hot! New adventures!

Hey All! I'm starting a new venture this year! Lots of new things going on for me and my husband already! 1st year of nursing school down! So excited my passion for helping people and saving lives and well underway! This new venture is a perfect opportunity to help doing so with the battle of obesity.  Today I signed up to be a new Beachbody Coach! Pretty excited.  Not everyone knows but I struggled with weight for a while before I joined the Airforce. Pretty sure it was my eating habits one year my metabolism basically stopped. I've always been small and petite and exercised but usually ate whatever I wanted.  Not the best of ideas.  I went from 105lbs to almost 150lbs. This was not just unhealthy but it was depressing and I just kept eating all the time.  I literally tried everything! I went to the Dr. because I thought something HAD to be wrong with me.  I had all the tests done and everything was clean.  So I worked out I ate hardly anything ...
